Students interested in joining the LSL Swim Team can pick up a permission form from Mr. Zombor in room 234 at lunch time today. First practice is Wednesday, Oct. 1 at Confed Pool. You must have your permission form completed and turned in before you can swim!
Grade 7 & 8 Junior volleyball boys please meet in the LSL gym for try outs at the start of lunch. All of you are invited to this. If you are part of an academy and cannot make it, please let Miss Nassar know if you haven't already. You will be let out of try outs early to eat your lunch.

The SMASH 2025 Tournament High School Student Job fair will be this coming Wednesday (sept 24th) in the LSL gym at the start of lunch. This is an important information and sign up session for all interested high school students! If you are unable to attend the meeting please reach out to Ms.Saccomani or your PE teacher.

Advanced Acting and Technical Theatre will have their first meeting next week, Monday Sept 8, at 3:15 in the Theatre.
Hockey Academy Volunteers in grade 8, 9, and 10 are needed for a service hour opportunity. Any student wishing to help SWAT with goalie evaluations on Saturday Sep 6th from 3 – 5:30 pm please come find Mr. Gilborn in the PE office after school. If you have siblings in SWAT this would help meet the volunteer commitment for the season as well.
Just to clarify the use of new lanyards, during class time the lanyards are to be worn. UNLESS it poses a safety issue while participating in the class. For example - cooking - they can come off. Phys Ed, they can come off, CHEM labs, they can come off. For classes where the students are in their seats etc, the expectation is that they are worn.
Grade 7 students, please bring your fun day permission slip to the office and don't forget to pay the $10 fee on your powerschool account. Fun Day for grade 7s is next week, 7ABCD will be going on Tuesday and 7EFG will be going on Friday.

Junior high volleyball camps are coming up in September! The boys camp will happen this upcoming Friday/Saturday on Sept 5-6 and the girls will be the following Friday/ Saturday on Sept 12-13. All junior high students are welcome regardless of experience or skill level. Register by getting your parents to scan the QR code on the posters and then paying through PowerSchool.
Grade 10-12 men's volleyball tryouts today after school in the Cartier McGee gym from 3:30-5:30 pm and tomorrow from 3:30-5:30 pm in the LSL gym. Please contact Mr. Thomas (Room 247) with any questions.
