Louis St. Laurent is a vibrant learning community serving a diverse population of over 1,500 students. We are committed to nurturing each learner’s full potential through engaging, meaningful experiences that support academic, social, physical, and spiritual growth.

Our diverse range of programs reflect student interests across academics, fine arts, languages, CTS/CTF, academies, and athletics. These offerings are complemented by comprehensive supports, including Student Services, Learning Services, Braided Journeys, and Inclusive Education programming for all students, including English Language Learners. 

Student involvement is at the heart of our school culture. We encourage participation through Students Union, Social Justice Projects, Liturgies and faith based events, clubs, and extracurricular activities. An integral part of our continued school success is parent involvement! LSL parents are encouraged to join our School Council and Parent Fundraising Association. We value our school-home-community triad. 

Advanced Placement (AP) / Enhanced Academic Program (EAP). 

AP is designed to provide motivated high school students with post-secondary-level academic courses. This rigorous academic program offers students a head start in successfully navigating academic challenges they will encounter at post-secondary schools.

The Enhanced Academic Program (EAP) prepares junior high students for deep intellectual engagement by beginning the development of advanced skills and foundational knowledge early. Junior high is a pivotal stage in which students can cultivate the habits of mind, academic skills, and conceptual understanding they need to thrive in more rigorous levels of learning.

Career and Technology Studies (CTS)/Career and Technology Foundations (CTF)

Louis St. Laurent offers a wide range of CTS and CTF programming designed to help students explore interests, develop practical skills, and make meaningful connections between learning and future pathways. Through hands-on, project-based experiences, students engage in areas such as Food Sciences, Fashion Technology, Design, Photography and Computer Sciences. CTS and CTF programming supports career exploration, problem-solving, creativity, and employability skills, while encouraging responsibility, collaboration, and perseverance. Grounded in our Catholic values, these programs help students discover their God-given talents and prepare for success in post-secondary education, apprenticeships, and the world of work.

Fine Arts 

We offer students exciting opportunities to shine and express themselves beyond the traditional classroom. Led by specialist teachers and instructors, students can explore drama, improv, visual art, band, instrumental music, choir, drum line, and dance—there truly is a place for everyone!

Languages/ International Student Opportunities

LSL provides language learning opportunities through our Spanish Bilingual Program and French as a Second Language courses. These programs help students to build strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in an additional language. International students are supported in joining these programs and developing proficiency that enriches their academic and cultural experience.

Spark Academy

SPARK is a hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) program that challenges students to design, build, and test creative solutions to real-world problems. Through projects students develop problem-solving, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills. SPARK encourages curiosity, innovation, and learning by doing in an engaging, project-based environment.

Sports Academies (Hockey and Soccer)

LSL is home to Junior and Senior athletic academies! We offer both hockey and soccer academy programming to students interested in high-level athletic skill development while balancing academic success. These programs emphasize long term player development, discipline, leadership and teamwork. Programming is delivered throughout the school day, both on and off campus, and is supported by a multidisciplinary team of expert coaches, trainers, and psychologists.
